Messengers of Destiny; a Reunion - work in progress

Reunion of masculine and feminine energies

There are paintings that arrive softly, and then there are paintings that insist on being born.

This one came through like a pulse, a call to explore the merging of masculine and feminine energies in a way that feels deeply tied to our current moment on the planet.

As I’ve been working on it, I keep feeling that it’s more than an image.

It’s a conversation.

A reminder.

A remembering.

The Illusion We Walk Through

The grid in this piece isn’t just structure, it’s a metaphor for the world we’re taught to believe in. A world built on straight lines, predictable patterns, and the quiet weight of rules we never consciously agreed to. It echoes the matrix we move through each day: the maya, the subtle illusion that shapes our choices, our identities, even our sense of what is possible.

It represents form, logic, time, and all the invisible frameworks that define “reality” for us. Yet beneath its neat geometry, there’s a tension, a reminder that life is far more fluid than the lines that try to contain it. The grid becomes a symbol of everything we navigate and everything we are meant to see beyond, a map of the illusion we’re slowly learning to outgrow.

But grids are two things:

boundaries, and

pathways

They confine, but they also map the way out.

Painting within this grid feels like working inside the illusion while simultaneously questioning it. The masculine and feminine are not just meeting in the world, they’re meeting through the illusion, breaking through it, remembering something beyond it.

A Reunion Across Realms

The masculine and feminine here aren’t characters, they’re archetypes.

They could be two people, two energies within one person, or two forces within a collective consciousness.

This isn’t a romantic reunion.

It’s not even a physical one.

It’s an energetic recalibration.

We’re living in a time where these polarities, action and intuition, structure and flow, logic and emotion, are finally being asked to work together rather than compete.

What we see externally is a reflection of what’s happening internally, and what’s happening internally is a deep call for balance.

As I paint their movement toward each other, I feel that magnetism, the pull of something ancient, something encoded in all of us. A reunion that’s both inevitable and necessary.

Messengers of Destiny

The birds entered the painting almost without my permission, as if they had something to deliver. They are symbols of transition, guidance, and fate. In many traditions, birds cross between worlds, carrying messages from the unseen.

Here, they represent:

intuition arriving as signs

synchronicities

the invisible threads that pull people and energies together

the reminders that destiny isn’t random, it’s orchestrated

Their presence tells me that this union isn’t accidental.

It’s aligned.

Timed.

Written.

An Alchemical Moment in Time

This piece feels like sacred alchemy, not the merging of two halves, but the remembering of a wholeness that was never truly divided. It mirrors an inner reunion so many are quietly moving through in this lifetime, even if they don’t yet have the words for it, a gentle rebalancing of the energies we’ve carried within us for lifetimes.

As I paint, the message that keeps rising feels both personal and collective:

When the masculine and feminine find harmony within us, the world around us begins to shift.

Inner balance ripples outward. Inner peace becomes outer peace. This is the only foundation strong enough for real, lasting peace on this planet.

And in that awakening, something else becomes clear:

So many people are walking through life trying to force themselves into relationships, roles, and connections that were never aligned with their soul. Pieces that don’t fit, dynamics that drain, partnerships that bind rather than free. It’s not failure, it’s misalignment. It’s the cost of living in a world that taught us to choose safety over truth, familiarity over resonance, logic over intuition.

This painting speaks to the opposite, to the rare, magnetic recognition that happens when two energies meet in true alignment, when nothing is forced, when the connection feels inevitable instead of effortful.

It’s a reminder that real union, internal or external, cannot be constructed from mismatched pieces. It can only rise from authenticity, balance, and a remembrance of our own wholeness.

And maybe that’s the deeper message whispering through this work: that peace, both personal and global, begins with choosing what truly fits, within ourselves, and with each other.

This piece isn’t finished yet, and I love that.

It mirrors where we are as a collective: in the middle of remembering, healing, and reuniting with the parts of ourselves we forgot.

A Living Work

Every time I step into the studio, the painting feels slightly different, like it’s breathing, evolving, teaching.

It’s guiding me as much as I’m creating it.

And maybe that’s the point:

Art isn’t just an expression.

Sometimes it’s a prophecy.

Sometimes it’s a mirror.

Sometimes it’s a doorway.

This one feels like all three.
